I became fascinated with photography after getting married in 2000 and working with our amazing wedding photographer. At the time I had a degree in accounting and a job in corporate America. I began my photography career in 2004 by taking pictures of kids and families in addition to my day job. Since then I have taken several photography courses with the New York Institute of Photography and the local community college. I am also a member of the Florida Professional Photographers Association through which I attend seminars during the year to continually develop my technical skills.
God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children, a girl and a boy. When my daughter was born in 2006, I was able to quit my corporate job to be a stay home mom as well as devote more time to this business. I have a full studio setup in my home with many backdrops and props, yet I also love going on location and using outdoor/natural light. This equal love of both studio and natural light I believe sets me apart from those that specialize in one or the other. It also gives me a wide range of options to really make my clients’ visions for their portraits become reality.
