It’s here! It’s finally here!  Welcome to the new and much improved Beth Carter Photography website and brand.  My entire business has needed a facelift for quite some time.  So in January I hired Bright Ideas to create for me a whole new brand identity, logo, and website.  I cannot recommend Lydia at Bright Ideas enough.  She is truly a creative genious.  She works with all business types, so if you are in need of a creative agency – I highly recommend her and her team.

I learned so much about myself and my purpose through this rebranding process.   It was a labor of love, but so worth it.  One of the biggest thing to come out of the process was creating a sub-brand for all my teen work – Real Me.  You’ll notice there are no galleries for teens or seniors on this site.  I now have an entire website devoted to only tweens, teens and seniors.   www.realmeteens.com   I just posted a blog post about Real Me Photography by Beth Carter on the Real Me site.  Please take a minute to go check it out to learn more about what I’m doing with these amazing kids.

The other biggest change is what I announced at the end of March.  Unfortunately I lost that blog post when the new site went live, so I’ll briefly explain again.  Because of my growing desire to work with teenagers and seniors, I have partnered with the amazing Stephanie Mayshay Photography for newborn sessions.  I will still be doing in-home newborn sessions for those clients that like the “lifestyle” look.  These will be more candid and relaxed and less posed.  If you are interested in a studio newborn session, full of all the cute props and poses, Stephanie is your girl.  I have explained it in more detail on the Investment section of this site.  But please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions!

There is a lot to look at and read through…but I hope you’ll take the time to do so.  Family photography, photos of your children, your pregnant belly, and even pets – all of these and so much more are why I do what I do.  In a world full of instant and digital everything, I want to give you the chance to take a moment to pause and focus on your loved ones.  I want to give you an experience and create art that will tell your family story the way you want it to be told.  I want to be your family photographer – every step of the way – through every life change and celebration.  That is what I’ve realized through this process of re-discovering myself and why I’m in this business at all.  Thank you to all of you that have trusted me over the past 13 years with your growing families and once-in-a-lifetime moments.  I’m so grateful.
