Once a year I go away for a weekend with a group of girls I grew up with.  Some of us have known each other since 4th grade.  This year we went to Isle of Palms, SC – right outside Charleston.  I had a great time.  I left Sydney with my parents for the weekend and was able to catch up on some reading (which I NEVER have time to do at home), go to the beach, shop, and pretty much just hang out.  Every year I do a photo shoot with the group – here are a couple of shots from this year.  Isn’t the sky beautiful in this first one?

I leave for my last trip of the summer next week.  I’ll be gone the 12th through the 21st.   I’ll have phone access, but probably no email access.
